The Google Educators Group of Australia serves a community of Australian educators open to discovering innovative ways that technology can support teaching and learning.  While we have a particular interest in Google for Education tools, we are interested in any and all technologies that can help students learn.

Google Educator Groups exists for the benefit of the broader education community, whether that's teachers, school leaders, support staff, and anyone tasked with helping young people learn. We all learn together and there is no cost in joining a GEG.  We encourage you to become a member to make connections with other educators and to stay informed of coming events.

For many years Google Educator Groups could be found in various cities and regions across Australia, and were run independently by local GEG leaders. However, with the growth of online events, these groups now gather under the one banner of GEG Australia. Our online events are open to all Australian educators, regardless of where you're from, and any educator is very welcome to attend any event. 

Regional GEG leaders sometimes offer in-person events designed to serve educators from their area. GEG Australia acts as a single point of contact for all events and activities of the regional GEGs.
